Note: There is no class on July 4.

This class explores the work of the world's greatest filmmakers. If you love great films, and love learning about them, this class is for you! Former Hollywood Director Thomas Blank hosts this seminar series. The class will explore the trends and highlights of the history of the movies in a casual environment.


UO Cinema Studies majors attend for free with valid student ID. Cinema Studies majors must register onsite or by coming to the UO Academic Extension office at 975 High Street, M-F 8:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m.

Cancellation Policy:

In the event you decide not to take the Behind the Lens course after you have registered, you must notify the Academic Extension registration office at least three business days before the course begins in order to receive a full refund or to credit your payment toward another course.
