The University of Oregon School of Architecture and Allied Arts (A&AA) in Portland has a deep commitment to the pursuit of knowledge and learning at all levels. You do not have to be an admitted student at the University of Oregon to explore what the A&AA has for you. Each course is taught by a distinguished instructorall of our instructors are practicing professionals in their field. We are here to help you with your personal and professional development goals! Who can take these classes?
Anyone can register for a UO in Portland course as long as they meet any major/minor requirements or prerequisites. Participants should have some prior knowledge about the course's subject and be familiar with related terminology.
- Community members will have an opportunity to get to know the excellent faculty and facilities of the UO in Portland.
- Experienced professionals can enhance their experience by working with expert instructors.
- UO students can enrich their primary studies while developing their professional skills.
How do I register?
All are welcome and encouraged to enroll in these enriching courses.
- Current UO and CEP students should register through DuckWeb, the university's online registration system.
- If you are not an admitted UO student, you can register through the Community Education Program (CEP) or by calling Academic Extension.

Cost
Tuition and fees are based on residency, student level and and the number of credits you are enrolled in. For more detailed information, visit the Office of the Registrar's webpage explaining How Much Will it Cost?
Community Education Program (CEP) students have their own unique tuition table.
Some courses have a self-support fee that replaces tuition; it is not in addition to regular tuition. GTF tuition waivers and staff tuition benefits do not cover self-support fees. Courses with a self-support fee are marked with a T in the notes field on the UO class schedule.
