The five-day workshop provides comprehensive training on Direct Instruction curricula appropriate for teachers' grade level and students. Participants will develop skills to work effectively with students from all backgrounds including those who are culturally, linguistically and economically diverse as well as students with disabilities. Training sessions are available for administrators and those wishing to become Direct Instruction trainers. To receive credit, participants must attend all sessions, submit a daily reflective log on their experiences, and complete a final reflection and action plan for implementing the skills learned during the workshop.
If you have any questions about the credit, please call the UO Academic Extension at 800-824-2714.
