Todd Gauthier is the facilities and events manager for Academic Extension at the University of Oregon. He began working for Academic Extension in autumn 2015.
Previously, Todd was communications and events manager at the Lewis Center for Regional Policy Studies and Institute of Transportation Studies in the University of California, Los Angeles' School of Public Affairs. Prior to that, he worked at UCLA Extension as a program coordinator in both the journalism and public relations programs before accepting a position as program manager of the Public Policy Program, also at UCLA Extension. There, he programmed and administered training and licensure seminars for public employees and managed an annual environmental symposium and a land use law and planning conference.
Todd's interest in higher education administration stemmed from his time working in the Michigan State House of Representatives as a legislative aide for two representatives from the Upper Peninsula—from where he hails.
Todd is an alumnus of Northern Michigan University in Marquette, Michigan, where he earned a bachelor’s degree in political science. In his spare time, he enjoys listening to classic rock and roll albums on vinyl and exploring his new home state.
