Larissa Ennis is a senior program manager for Academic Extension at the University of Oregon. In this role she is responsible for the development, launch, and support of innovative educational programs that expand the UO’s teaching and research missions to nontraditional audiences.
Larissa first began her employment with the Continuation Center (now Academic Extension) in the Conference Services group in 2002, where she provided seasonal support for educational conferences. Transitioning into Continuing Education in 2008, Larissa turned her attention to continuing education program management, and has managed a variety of credit and noncredit programming that serves professional and nontraditional learners.
Larissa earned a PhD in English with a structured emphasis in film studies from the University of Oregon in 2012. In her spare time, Larissa serves as board secretary for a nonprofit chamber orchestra and enjoys gardening, food preservation, karaoke, and spending time with her partner and their three lazy dogs.
